Power Floated Floor
Power floated finishes are created during the concrete curing process using a power trowel. This produces a dense, smooth, and extremely durable surface suitable for warehouses, industrial units, car parks, and commercial buildings.

POWER FLOATED CONCRETE FLOORING
This power floated concrete floor was poured and finished by Floorcraft. The first part of the process is similar to a diamond polished concrete floor: we pour the concrete at 100mm thick and fit A142 anti-crack mesh. Once the concrete has been poured and levelled, it is left to set before the power floating process begins.

Creating a smooth, hard-wearing finish
After around three hours, once the concrete has set enough to walk on, we can begin using the power float. The machine works the surface and brings the cream of the concrete to the top, creating the smooth, hard-wearing finish. The result is the distinctive polished appearance shown in the photos.
